Bollywood Actor Amitabh Bachchan Buys This in Mumbai For Rs 60 crore

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has purchased three office units in Veer Savarkar Signature building in Mumbai for around Rs 60 crore, according to documents accessed by, a commercial real estate analytics platform.


According to documents, these office spaces are located in Signature Building, off Veera Desai Road in Andheri West area of Mumbai. The documents showed that the Bollywood actor paid Rs 59.58 crore for three office units, cumulatively measuring 8,429 square feet area.

The sale deed of the deal was executed on June 20, 2024 and Bachchan paid a stamp duty of Rs 3.57 crore for the transaction. These commercial units come with three car parking slots, documents showed. The commercial property was sold by Veer Savarkar Projects Private Limited.

There was no immediate response from Bachchan and the seller of the property could not be contacted.

The Signature Building in Andheri West seems to be popular among Bollywood celebrities as a number of Bollywood personalities own commercial spaces in this building. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood actors Kajol, Kartik Aryan, Sara Ali Khan also own commercial spaces in this.

Earlier this month, Unity Small Finance Bank, owned by Centrum group and BharatPe, has purchased multiple floors in a commercial building in Santacruz East in Mumbai aggregating to a total area of over 70,000 square feet for Rs 227 crore.


In October 2023, Kinnteisto LLP, the firm run by Rekha Jhunjhunwala, had purchased over 1.94 lakh sq ft of commercial office spaces in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), India's costliest commercial district, and Chandivali area of Mumbai for around Rs 740 crore.
