On Saturday, Neha Dhupia interviewed Bipasha Basu they went live on instagram where they talked about her motherhood experience. They talked about her journey and new experiences. Where Bipasha shared that she is not in a postion to talk about motherhood since she feels that everyday is a learning experience and motherhood is gull of its own turbulances.
During the live session, Bipasha Basu shared a heartbreaking news that her daughter Devi was born with two holes in heart and she underwent open heart surgey when was just three months old. While sharing this experience she broke down into tears.
In the live session she also talked about her relationship with husband Karan Singh Grover and how they have grown and become a strong couple. She shared that during her pregnancy she always felt she was having a baby girl and how she always refered to to her as 'she' and how she used to have dream of having a daughter. While talking about her journey she revealed how the turbulence hit their life after they got know their daughter had two hole in her heart (Ventricukar Septic Disease)
Bipasha shared about devi's open heart surgey journey
While talking to Neha Dhupia she said, "I got to know on the third after having a baby that our baby is born with two hole in her heart. I thought that i'll not share about this but later i felt that it was important because there ared lot of mothers who helped me in this journey, and it was very difficult to find those mother."
She further added, "Five month had been very difficut for us. we were told that every month, we have to do a scan to know if its healing on its own because the hole was big and the surgery happend on the third month". Later she got emotional while sharing that it was difficut for them to see their children suffer in pain she said, "That you feel so sad and burdened, conflicted because how could you put such a small child through an open heart surgery, and something natural woould happen. And especially for people like us who are elievers we like to manifest this with our thoughts."
Later, she smiled back and talked about her daughter that how she is fighter and has a braveheart that she is a social butterfly. She even showed her daughter in live. After this live people showered their love on Bipasha and applauded her for being strong and excellant mother. Karan and Bipasha felt in love during their movie shoot "Alone" and got married to each other in April 2016 and couple were with daughter back in November 2022. They named her Devi Singh Grover.
