Bhagam Bhag 2 Confirmed; Shoot To Start In 2025

The comedy films in Bollywood included the star-studded fim of Akshay Kumar, Govinda’s Bhagam Bhag and Paresh Rawal. Fans really liked it and still its very fresh in their minds. Recently some sources said the makers are working to make a sequel of the film. But nothing was confirmed. But now it is. Manufacturers have also backed the information.

According to a source, the rights of the sequel were recently bought from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions, who is also writing the film’s script at the same time. She will be making this film in association with Shemaroo.

The portal quoted film’s team and wrote, “Sarita agreed that they have taken a lot of time to design the sequel, but it’s finally coming out. Because a special film like Bhagam Bhag deserves a sequel that’s just as special, when the time was right, we decided to take the plunge."

The CEO of Shemaroo Entertainment, Hiren Gada, added, “We are excited to partner with an incredible team to create a film that will continue the legacy of its predecessor by bringing more laughter, fun and entertainment."

The producers added that, with Bhagam Bhag 2, plan is to go ‘madder, crazier and funnier’. This is likely to go on mid 2025. It is likely to star Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal in their mass roles.

A source revealed, “Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, and Garam Masala are three of the most special films for Akshay Kumar, and he has already sorted out the franchise rights for Hera Pheri and Bhagam Bhag. The sequel is currently in the writing stage with a fresh set of writers. Three comic legends in the same film will be a treat for cinema-going audiences, and the idea is to crack a script that does justice to the legacy of their work in the past. The scripting work has just started, as the germ of an idea for Bhagam Bhag 2 is already in place."
