Ayushmann Khurrana To Kick Off 2025 With 'Thama' Shoot 

As the new year kicks off, Ayushmann Khurrana has set the tone for a packed and promising 2025, as he left for the second schedule of his much anticipated ‘bloody love story’ Thama, from Maddock’s blockbuster horror comedy universe. After a short schedule in Mumbai late last year, the team is all set to shoot some exciting sequences as they begin filming early next week with the cast in the capital city of Delhi which continues until the first half of January. Thama promises to be a gripping love story, set against a bloody backdrop and brings together an impressive cast with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, along with Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Under the direction of Aditya Sarpotdar of blockbuster Munjya fame, the film is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Fulara, and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.

2025 is a jam packed year for superstar Ayushmann Khurrana as well - with two films up for release - one with Thama, scheduled for release on the momentous occasion of Diwali and another untitled action thriller with Dharma - Sikhya Productions. Not just that, as per sources he also begins shooting for two exciting films, one with Sooraj Barjatya - a heartfelt family drama and another one with Sameer Saxena, produced under the collaborative venture between Yash Raj Films & Posham Pa Pictures, touted to be an edge of the seat genre-bending theatrical. 

Ayushmann's dedication and diverse film slate underscores his reign as Bollywood’s hit versatile superstar, ensuring that 2025 will be a year to watch for his fans and the industry alike.
