Ananya Panday Addresses The Reason Of Being Terrified Of Sara In School

Ananya Panday recently shared some fun memories from her school days with Sara Ali Khan, calling those times unforgettable! Even though both have big names in Bollywood, Ananya admitted that back then, she was “terrified” of Sara. Being three years older, Sara had a bold personality that really stood out.

" She was muhfat anyways, like now also, she says… But in school, she was even more muhfat, she used to say anything. So, I used to be like, ‘She’s going to say something about me’. Ananya went on to add that she would try to avoid Sara. She added, “If she was walking down from a certain staircase, I would walk from the other staircase."

Ananya Panday shared that she and Sara Ali Khan once acted in a school play together. Since Sara didn't know Ananya's name back then, she would just call her "ae."

She mentioned that, “I think we did a play together in school. She was like the main and I was holding her umbrella or something. I was in the back. So she would say, ‘ae girl come here’. I don’t think it’s because my name started with A, she didn’t even know that. Now when I tell her she says, ‘what rubbish! I treated you so well, but she didn’t even know my name."

Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan have grown close over the past few years, thanks to their shared experiences in Bollywood. They even appeared together on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan last year. Ananya shared that Sara was very welcoming when she first entered the industry. " Now we’ve become friends. She debuted a year before I did and she was very welcoming. She was always like, ‘let’s go for lunch,’ she’s really made an effort to be friends."

Ananya Panday's latest appearance was in the Netflix film CTRL. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan has started shooting her upcoming, yet-to-be-titled project alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The duo is filming in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
