Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan Together Approached For This Film

The makers of the Bhoothnath franchise caught up pace and appear to have go to the gears with Bhoothnath part 3.

As per recent trends, T-Series and BR Films planning to make Bhoothnath 3 much bigger horror-comedy franchise. Discussions are also being carried forward on how to reintroduce Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan for the movie and make it a big film.

A report said that since the Bhool Bhulaiyaa series, Bhushan Kumar wants to produce one more successful horror-comedy series. At the moment, Bhoothnath 3 is not yet happening, however, producers are much undeniable about releasing the third sequel.

The report cited a source related to production that said writing work has started on the film and all other decisions would be taken once the script is crystallized. "Bhoothnath 3 is in the development stage at the moment, and the producers are toying with the idea of bringing Bhoothnath back to the spectacle. If everything goes as planned, Bhoothnath 3 will go on floor in 2025, for a 2026 release. The script work has begun, and the makers are happy with the germ that they have for Bhoothnath 3," the source said. 

The report also said that in the earlier Bhoothnath movies certain scenes had considered cameo roles played by Shah Rukh Khan now this one could really be different. "While part one and two had a cameo of Shah Rukh Khan, the makers are aiming at bigger goals for the third instalment, though everything will boil down to the script eventually. It’s too early in the day to discuss casting, as the makers are presently focusing on getting the script right. A director will be associated once the script is locked," the source added.

This has without doubt become the era of horror-comedies and finally Bollywood has perhaps got the right formula needed for a movie in this segment. On the face of it, the concept of making Bhoothnath 3 must be a good one.
