Akshay Kumar Sells His Mumbai Apartment in 78% Profit
Akshay Kumar's latest film, Sky Force, has recently graced the big screen and is already making waves, earning rave reviews and captivating audiences. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar made a substantial profit around 78% after selling his Borivali East Mumbai apartment for Rs 4.25 crore, according to recent reports.
According to property registration documents obtained by SquareYards, the apartment is located in Sky City, a sprawling 25-acre residential development. The project offers a range of ready-to-move-in units, including 3BHK, 2BHK, studio, and duplex apartments. The sale was officially registered on January 21, 2025, as per the documents.
Indian Government Registry records examined by SquareYards show Akshay Kumar acquired his apartment at Rs 2.38 crore in November 2017. The building increased to Rs 4.25 crore during its latest sale which proved a 78% rise in market value.
The Sky Force actor and Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan together with Abhishek Bachchan are listed by IGR property registration records as owners of multiple properties inside Oberoi Sky City as per records. Documents reviewed by SquareYards show the apartment measures 1073 sq. ft. (99.71 sq. m) with two spots for car parking. The transaction required a Rs 25.5 lakh stamp duty payment along with Rs 30,000 in registration fees.
