Ajay Devgn Announced Next Film As Director

Ajay Devgn announced at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024 that he is directing his next movie, which will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

During a conversation , Akshay and Ajay were asked about their next collaboration. Smiling, Ajay revealed that they are already working on something. Addressing this they said, " This is something we were going to announce later but I think this is a great platform. We are already working on something together where I am directing the film and he is in the film."

Akshay and Ajay recently appeared together in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. Ajay played the main role, while Akshay made a special appearance. The movie also featured Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff.

Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have acted together in movies like Khakee, Sooryavanshi, and Suhaag. Ajay has also directed films such as Bholaa, Runway 34, Shivaay, and U Me Aur Hum.

At HTLS 2024, when asked if today's films can be more expensive because actors demand high salaries, Ajay replied, "The actors charge according to scripts, films, and projects. And most of us are charging according to recoveries."

Akshay also explained that when actors get a share of the profits, they are rewarded for successful films and held accountable for failures, making it fairer for the producers.
