Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's son is set to make his debut through the Netflix movie Maharaja, but even he faced many rejections before getting success.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s son Junaid Khan has created a buzz on social media ever since his Bollywood debut was announced. Junaid studied 3 years of dramatics, and dedicated his graduation years in theatre to polish his acting skills. Not limited to theatre, Junaid has also explored his prospects in the film industry.

But his life hasn’t been without rejections and hardships. A source close to him revealed, Junaid auditioned a lot but faced numerous rejections, including from his father’s home production Laal Singh Chadda. Despite encountering seven significant rejections, the producer of his upcoming film stumbled upon one of Junaid’s previous audition tapes, offering him to audition. However, even this opportunity came with certain conditions.”

Junaid Khan is set to make his Bollywood debut in Yash Raj films' period drama Maharaj, which will release on Netflix on June 14. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari Wagh, and Shalini Pande. the film is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and is based on the controversial 1862 Maharaj Libel Case

Recently, Yash Raj Films released the poster of Maharaja on social media accounts with the caption, ‘The fight for the truth between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. Based on true events from the 1860s - Maharaj is releasing on 14 June, only on Netflix!

He will also star in a romantic drama co-starring Sai Pallavi. Their photos, while shooting the film in Japan, had gone viral on social media. A source close to the actor also revealed that Junaid will also be shooting with Khush Kapoor for an untitled project.
