Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently visited the family of his late co-star Suhani Bhatnagar, who played his daughter in the film "Dangal." Suhani tragically passed away due to dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease.
During his visit to Suhani's home in Faridabad, Aamir Khan paid his respects to her family. A photo from his visit, shared on social media, shows him standing alongside Suhani's parents and other family members, next to a framed picture of the young actor.
Suhani portrayed the role of a younger Babita Phogat, daughter of Aamir Khan's character Mahavir Singh Phogat, in the hit movie "Dangal." Her battle with dermatomyositis began two months ago with swelling in her left hand, as shared by her mother, Pooja Bhatnagar.
Speaking to ANI, Suhani's mother expressed her gratitude towards Aamir Khan, stating, "Aamir Sir always remained in touch with her. He is a nice person." She also revealed that the family was invited to Aamir's daughter Ira Khan's wedding, but they couldn't attend as Suhani was recovering from a fracture at the time and couldn't travel.
Upon hearing the news of Suhani's passing, Aamir Khan Productions shared a heartfelt message on their social media, expressing their condolences to Suhani's family. The note praised Suhani's talent and contribution to the film, stating, "Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace."
Suhani Bhatnagar's untimely demise has deeply saddened the film industry, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
