India’s great industrialist, businessman, and living legend Ratan Tata turns 83 today. He is the pioneer of the Tata industries. He is one of the most celebrated businessmen globally. He is currently serving as the chairman of Tata Trusts. The industrialist is the recipient of two of the highest civilian awards – Padma Vibhushan (2008) and Padma Bhushan (2000).
He is the man who has always stood by the nation whenever the nation needed. Recently, during the COVID time, Ratan Tata had announced that he will use 500 crores to fight coronavirus. He had shared this note from his charitable organization.
On the occasion of his birthday here we take a look at his inspirational quotes:
“I don’t believe in taking the right decisions. I take decisions and then make them right.”
It is not that all the decisions we take in our life are related to professional or personal life proves to be right. But a successful businessman like Ratan Tata has a completely different perspective of looking towards it. When he decides to do something he does not consider whether it is right or wrong and does it in the right way.
“Take the stones people to throw at you. And use them to build a monument.”
People have a habit of talking about others. They are judgmental and they criticize as well. Not everyone will be happy to see you grow. And after facing criticism many people give up on their dreams. However, Rata Tata takes criticism in a positive way. He is of the opinion that criticism should be used as a tool and make a success story out of it.
“None can destroy iron, but its own rust can. Likewise, none can destroy a person but his own mindset can.”
Tata believes that the way a particular person thinks makes or breaks the person’s personality. If an individual is very talented and skilled but does not have a correct attitude and mindset then it can destroy is persona.
“Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going because a straight line even in an ECG means we are not alive.”
It is not always that everything good only happens to us or only bad things happen to us it is a balance of the both that’s how life is. We need to embrace the change. We need to understand that one success does not make a person unbeatable and one failure does not mean that there is no hope anymore.
“People Still Believe What They Read Is Necessarily The Truth“
People have the tendency that whatever they read about anything is true. They will not fact check and verify whatever is written right or wrong.
