Anil Kapoor Replaces Salman Khan as the host for Bigg Boss OTT 3

Bigg Boss OTT is back with a new season in June, but the host seems to have been changed. Jio Cinema released a new promo to officially announce the season and the change in the host. This year the show is going to be hosted by  Anil Kapoor who seems to have replaced Salman Khan.

In the promo video, a man in red shoes is walking around, while clips from previous seasons are played. Suddenly, the man whistles and calls for a chair, saying “Kursi manga re…”. Somewhere in the background, a voice says, “Sir, Jhakas”, which prompts him to reply, “Bahaut hogaya re jhakaas, karte hain na kuch aur khaas.” The voice of the man and the famous Jhakaas phrase clearly indicates at the new host being Anil Kapoor. Jio Cinema posted this video on instagram with the caption, "A new host for the new season of Bigg Boss OTT. Aur Bigg Boss ki tarha, inki awaaz hi kaafi hai. P.S. - No prizes for guessing #BiggBossOTT3 coming this June on JioCinema Premium."

Sonam Kapoor shared the video on her Instagram story and wrote, “They’ve got the most talented, hardworking and handsome man onboard!”. Even Arjun Kapoor reposted the promo on his Instagram story "King of New!! He's always doing something unique to keep his younger peers on their toes!!"

According to sources, Salman Khan has stepped down as the host for this season because of the conflicting schedule. Currently, he is shooting for the film ‘Sikander’, directed by AR Murugadoss, and the dates were clashing with that of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3

Bigg Boss OTT is set to release in June, but the exact dates are yet to be announced.
