Fans of Korean entertainment are in for a treat as G-Dragon, the iconic member of BIGBANG, teams up with top actors Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Hae In for his highly anticipated variety show, Good Day. Set to premiere on February 16 at 9:10 p.m. KST on MBC, the show promises a mix of music, storytelling, and collaboration, featuring an impressive lineup of celebrities.
Kim Soo Hyun, known for his role in Queen of Tears, and Jung Hae In, the star of Love Next Door, will share personal stories that inspire G-Dragon's music. The trio, all born in 1988, brings a unique camaraderie to the show, enhancing the creative synergy.
The concept of Good Day revolves around G-Dragon’s idea of creating the “song of the year” by collaborating with individuals from various fields. Reflecting on the project, G-Dragon shared,
“I still remember the days fondly when I watched the singers I admired as a child perform on stage together and the memories of singing and laughing with Infinite Challenge members during the Infinite Challenge Song Festival. This journey [Good Day] began with the question, ‘What if we set the stage for that day everyone might be longing for?’”
Produced by renowned PD Kim Tae Ho, Good Day features a star-studded roster. In addition to Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Hae In, viewers can expect appearances from Jung Hyung Don, Hwang Jung Min, Kim Go Eun, Yim Si Wan, aespa, SEVENTEEN’s BSS, DAY6, and fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung.
