Recently, news outlets revealed that BTS are reportedly to make comeback this May.
Sports DongA reported that BTS is trying to release a new song within the first half of the year. Usually, members go on overseas tours for over six months each year, have not been able to hold one for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All members are busy with their solo work according to the report. Also on 25th February member V recently revealed about his first solo mixtape in the ‘BE-Hind Story’ Teaser Clip and also revealed that there will be 13 tracks on his upcoming mixtape.
He stated, “I keep getting greedy and the pressure is huge because this is my first album.”
Along with this, BTS will also be releasing their Japanese best album BTS, THE BEST on June 16.
To the above report, Big Hit Music responded that “artists’ plans will be revealed once everything has been finalized.” It also reported that the group has recently done various live broadcasts, interviews, and more in preparation for a comeback.
They also recently pre-release track “Film Out” which is a part of the OST of an upcoming Japanese movie titled SIGNAL The Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit. “Film out” is currently number one in 97 countries iTunes Top Song Chart.
In a previous live broadcast that was held in February, they revealed that they were working on new music.
They said, “We think that the most important thing for a singer is to sing well, dance well, release good albums, and communicate with everyone. We have some good songs coming out now. We hope to make a comeback soon with more good songs.”
In March when their ET Canada interview was held they hinted saying, “We are currently working on new music as a group and individually. ARMYs can anticipate a lot of things from us this year.”
As previously in November 2020, they released their BE album with their title track “Life Goes On.” If they make a comeback in the first half of this year, it will be six months since their last promotion.
