Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) is considering the chances of allowing 50 percent crowd attendance in the stadium for the upcoming four-match Test series against England. The first two Test matches of the bilateral series will be played in Chennai, the next two will be held at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Fans might get the opportunity to enjoy the match while being physically present at the venue for all four Tests, the series commences from 5th February. However, if the number of cases increase in Chennai and Ahmedabad then the BCCI will immediately alter the decision of allowing spectators inside the stadiums.
The Indian cricket fans haven’t witnessed a live cricket match since January 2020. The last time fans were allowed to watch the game inside the stadium was in January when India was hosting Australia for an ODI bilateral series.
