Odisha is having a below-average season under new head coach Stuart Baxter. They will take some positives from the second-half performance against Jamshedpur FC in their last game. Since ATK Mohun Bagan is a merged entity and it’s their first season of the ISL. The two teams are yet to play an official match in this tournament.
Except for Michael Soosairaj missing the rest of the season, Habas has no issues with his squad at the moment. ATK Mohun Bagan’s starting XI is likely to go unchanged from their previous game which beat SC East Bengal.
Baxter is still trying to figure out the right combination for the team. Players like Marcelinho haven’t yet settled in the way Baxter would have expected him to.
Mauricio could start the game in place of Laishram Premjit Singh. Jacob Tratt or Cole Alexander is likely to make way for Mauricio for Odisha to maintain their balance of foreigners.
