Angelina Jolie is an American actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian. She was last seen on the big screen in Come Away along with being a part of the voiceover cast for The One and Only Ivan. Jolie will be back in theatres with her neo-western movie Those Who Wish Me Dead.
According to The Wrap, Those Who Wish Me Dead will be releasing in theatres on May 14, 2021, and will also stream that same day on HBO Max, following the lines of the recently released Warner Bros. Films like Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 and Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto’s The Little Things. Interestingly, Those Who Wish Me Dead will be clashing with Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Maluma starrer Marry Me, which releases on the same day.
Those Who Wish Me Dead is directed and co-written by Taylor Sheridan. The film stars Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, Jon Bernthal and Aidan Gillen in pivotal roles alongside Jolie. The film is based on Michael Koryta’s novel of the same name, Those Who Wish Me Dead is set amid a wildfire in the Montana wilderness and is based on a 14-year-old who is plunged into a new life, after witnessing a brutal murder, where she is hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens.
