After two grand pre-wedding celebrations, Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani tied the knot on 19th July. The wedding fesivities lasted for 3 days, with ceremonies like Mameru, Grah Shanti Pua, Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, Garba Night and the main wedding. They even held a grand wedding reception for the guest.
The wedding was a star studded event with global icons like the Kardashians and John Cena present at the ceremonies. Global personalities like Tony Blair, Boris Johnson, John Keery, Samsung Electronics co-chairman Jay Y. Lee, Fifa President Gianni Infantino, and many more. Indian celebrities across various fields were also present there like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Devendra Fadanvis, M.S. Dhoni, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and many more. PM Modi also graced the wedding and blessed the couple.
The entire cost of the wedding was Rs. 5000 crores, which is merely 0.5% of the net worth of the Ambanis. The grand wedding is considered as the wedding of the decade.
