We loved every minute of Piku, especially the strong father-daughter bond between Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. Now, the great news is that brilliant actors are coming together for Hindi remake of Hollywood smash hit film, The Intern.

Released in 2015, The Intern was directed by Nancy Meyers, who previously made feel-good flicks like  The Parent Trap (1998), What Women Want (2000), Something’s Gotta Give (2003), The Holiday (2006), It’s Complicated (2009). The Intern featured talented actors like Robert De Niro and Anne Hathway and was praised for its fantastic story, direction and adimiring performances.

Now, Ka Productions and Azure Entertainment have bought the rights to remake The Intern, in collaboration with  Warner Bros India and has roped in Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone who will be playing the role of Robert De Niro and Anne Hathway respectively.
