Abhay Deol is a special talent for ways more than one. And we really miss him onscreen as what he brings on the table, it seldom can’t be matched. Read on…
He instantly became the town of the nation with his film, Dev D where he played a modern day rendition of Devdas. Soon after, Abhay Deol was making a huge impact on the industry, the audience and his fellow contemporaries for being raw, fierce, handsome, edgy and the most for being a fresh bundle of talent.
He soon getting a flood of offers for B-Town films but as he was choosy and selective, he did the right mix of commercial and quality cinema where he hardly went overboard thus doing full justice to his persona which reflected in his roles as well. he got more and more love and Bollywood had finally got an actor who can laugh so naturally, dance no naturally and act like a true bonafide actor.
His choice of films and his performances always kept him away from being perceived as a typical Deol and never got typecast for the same. His time had come and he had become desirable and was on every film-maker’s list. He soon did Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara with Zoya Akhtar and it became a cult-classic and millennial’s favorite Bollywood film, no kidding. We last saw him in Zero and our love for Abhay reunited. We don’t see much of this incredibly dishy actor these days and he is hard to spot. Afterall, who wouldn’t look out for an actor like Abhay Deol who is such a treat to watch perform. We miss him terribly on the silver screen and just want to say to him, please be back Mr Deol!
