Kim Sae Ron Releases Statement on Viral Photo with Kim Soo Hyun, Receives Backlash

After much anticipation, actress Kim Sae Ron has finally spoken out about the viral photo of herself and Kim Soo Hyun. However, her statement has only ignited more controversy.

 

Speaking to My Daily on March 27, Kim Sae Ron announced that she would not be making any comments regarding the photo, despite previous indications that she would address the situation. 

She stated, "I really thought hard to myself and I feel that it would help me to be silent. I will not be making a statement and will no longer comment."

An acquaintance of Kim Sae Ron shared with YouTube reporter Lee Jin Ho that the actress uploaded the photo impulsively and in a state of instability. The acquaintance also suggested that Kim Sae Ron may have uploaded the photo to showcase her popularity, as she is currently facing backlash while Kim Soo Hyun's career is flourishing.

“Kim Sae Ron uploaded the photo while being unstable and impulsive. She currently acknowledges that her actions were wrong, and her acquaintance who revealed this to me also said they couldn’t understand why the actress uploaded the photo.

According to her acquaintances, they felt Kim Sae Ron may have uploaded the photo to flex her popularity in the past.

Kim Sae Ron is currently canceled due to her own actions. Kim Soo Hyun, on the other hand, who was in the same agency as her, is currently reaching new career heights. Because of this, I feel Kim Sae Ron uploaded the photos to show off."

 

In response to the dating rumours, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, denied the allegations, stating, "The rumors of Kim Soo Hyun being in a relationship [with Kim Sae Ron] are unfounded. The photo that is being spread online appears to have been taken in the past when the two were both under our management."

Kim Sae Ron's statement has not been well-received, with netizens criticising her for seeking attention and causing unnecessary controversy.
