Abhishek Bachchan will be making his digital debut with web-series Breathe: Into the Shadows and we are excited as hell.
In the web series, Abhishek portrays a grief-stricken and helpless father in the show, whose daughter goes missing. Then he decided to take the matters in his own hands.
In a recent interview with a known film journalist, Abhishek was asked how difficult is it being a father and an actor simultaneously.
The actor said,”I have a no intimacy policy at work. I know it has changed one thing. There are certain kinds of films and scenes I’m not comfortable doing anymore. I would not want to do anything in which my daughter would feel uncomfortable or something that she’d question me about, saying, hey what’s going on here?”
He said that he was comfortable doing intimate scenes. The actor said that he tells the filmmakers before singing into a project and requests for an intimate scene can be modified. If the makers insist on the scenes being integral to the story, then he quits the project.
Abhishek was then asked if he had lost work because of this policy, then Abhishek replied, “Yes, and that’s fine. No regrets, because I had a creative point of view, and the producer-director have a creative point of view, and they didn’t want to compromise on that and I completely respect that, and it’s perfectly fine.”
In Breathe: Into the Shadows Abhishek’s co- stars are Amit Sadh, Saiyami Kher and Nithya Menen. Abhishek’s future projects include Ludo, Bob Biswas and The Big Bull.
