The title totally suits the Diljit Dosanjh, an Indian musician, who took over the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California, this weekend.
Like how many times the Punjabi singer made us groove to his voice mixed with Punjabi pop beats. And no wedding or party or event goes without having the Diljit’s number on the playlist.
And just like that, as soon as when the news came out of him performing at the festival, many South Asian fans gathered at the American music event to see him perform live.
Diljit himself took to his Instagram account and shared a video of American DJ Diplo dancing to Dilijit’s live performance at the Sahara stage, which went viral on social media.
THE GUY MADE HISTORY AT COACHELLA 2023
Diljit is the first ever singer from Punjab to take the stage at Coachella. During his live performance, the actor-singer opted to dressed in a black Kurta and Tamba, a traditional Punjabi attire for men.
As you can take the boy out of Punjab but can’t take the Punjab out of the boy!
Coachella’s official Twitter account also shared a video of Diljit’s performance with their fans.
SNEAK PEEK OF BACKSTAGE
Diljit gave us a sneak peek of his Coachella backstage activities. In the photos, he was sporting a striking blue co-ord set with black hat.
