Earlier, it was Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, who have attended the prestigious fashion event, also known as the Met Ball. It is the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York.
Alia will be wearing a Prabal Gurang outfit for the red carpet. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone also wore a red number by Prabal at the 2018 Met Gala Heavenly Bodies. The decision to go with Gurung for her Met Gala debut is because the theme this year is “a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld.” Prabal has a connection to him.
