Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt enjoys a huge fan following on social media. In her decade old career, she has achieved multiple milestones. But that does not make her turn down by the trolls. Alia is often slammed by netizens for nepotistic journey in the industry and her actions in public. Recently, social media users found a reason to bash the actress again.

Netizens came across an old picture of Alia where she is seen holding a leather bag, while donning a ‘speak up for animals’ t-shirt. The photo is from October 2021 and was posted on Reddit page ‘BollyBlindsNGossip’. The caption of the post read, “Height of hypocrisy, carrying leather bag while wearing Speak for animal shirt.”

In the snaps, Alia is wearing a black t-shirt that talks about speaking up for animals. She is carrying a Gucci leather bag in her hand. As soon the post grabbed eyeballs, the netizens did not miss the opportunity to troll Alia and her ‘intelligence’ that Karan Johar often talks about.

But this is not for the first time that Alia has been trolled for, once she was bashed down for refusing to drink sugar in her coffee at The Kapil Sharma Show during the promotions of movie Kalank. Yet seen doing advertisements for brands like Cadbury Perk, Kwality Walls Cornetto and Parle Agro Frooti.

Commenting on recent incident, one user wrote, “70% of people who preach animal love consider only Dog/Cat as animals who deserve to be protected. Fact!” Another stated, “She’s as bright as a black hole.” A third one penned, “All celebs in a nutshell, including the ones who campaign for climate by flying around the world in the private jets.”

On the professional front, Alia is coming up next with Karan Johar’s directorial Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh. She will also star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara along with Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas besides making her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone.
