Salman Khan was at his most authentic during the Filmfare Awards press conference. The actor, who engaged in a great deal of media interaction at the event last night, was questioned on competition from a newer generation of performers. The five performers from his generation, according to Salman Khan, "will wear them out," despite the younger actors' commitment to their craft. Salman Khan remarked, "Ab five mein kaun hain (who are these five) - Shah Rukh, Aamir, me, Akki (Akshay Kumar), and Ajay (Devgn)," using SRK, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and himself as examples. Said he, "They will have to compete with us. They'll be worn out by us."

Without using names, the 57-year-old actor said during the conversation, "Hum price badha dete hai, hum logo ke picturein chalti hai. Jab hume nahi milta, price badha dete hai, woh uske chakkar me. After the popularity of our flicks, we raise our rates, Kyu Bhai. When we aren't accessible for movies, these people also raise their rates to compete. Why so) ?"

About his professional endeavours, Salman Khan earlier this year made a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's hit movie Pathaan. He is looking forward to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's release.

In addition, he appeared in the Mahesh Manjrekar-directed movie Antim, which also starred Aayush Sharma, Salman Khan's brother-in-law (married to Arpita Khan). He also revealed Bajrangi Bahaijaan's second season. The actor's upcoming movies include Tiger 3 and Kick 2, both starring Jacqueline Fernandez. This year, the movie will be released. Phew!
