Filled with breath-taking action scenes & unbelievable scenarios with an attractive 3D touch makes ‘Bholaa’ a perfect adventure ride. It keeps you on the nerve throughout the run while the plot doesn’t fail to amaze you time to time. Ajay Devgan while directing takes care of all the massy elements and top-notch action scenes which will compete any other action movie easily.
The unrealistic blood shed takes over the plotted story in the areas of Lalganj, Uttar Pradesh. It starts with the few loyal police officers catching drug dealers who are transporting 1000 Cr worth drugs in a truck. And when we give you, this minor detail don’t forget it cause it has reference ahead in the story!
Police officers get successful in the operation and the lady officer Diana Joseph (Tabu)gets injured in her shoulder and it carries in the whole movie which is actually sad part for such a supercop character while for Tabu fans as well. But it doesn’t stop her, she maintains her aura of & controls the movie finely.
Meanwhile cops hide all the drugs and captured guns under an old British building which is also a Police Station. All the gangs in Lalganj and nearby areas led by Ashwatthama (Deepak Dobriyal) gets alert of the same. Ashwatthama has shown as a crazy gang leader with a crazy look, he is killing people in the movie like his hobby & Deepak Dobriyal fits perfect in the character to do all this mad stuff.
Talking about ‘Bholaa’ who is the main character in the movie and on which the movie is named on! Bholaa (Ajay Devgan) is a prisoner going home after 10 years of imprisonment to meet his young daughter. But finds his way again to police and gets arrested for being rude and & arrogant. In a retirement function of a senior police officer all the officers get together & a rare drug mixed in their glasses faints them for hours. Tabu for instance doesn’t drink anything so she remains awake. She looks for help, she finds catering people and their truck but doesn’t find any truck driver around. And then Bholaa comes into the picture.
Meanwhile all the gangs in Uttar Pradesh get messages from Ashwatthama to kill Diana and all the police officers who are on the way to Lalganj. Bholaa, Diana & a cook from catering people starts their journey to Lalganj through a jungle and met many gangs in between.
Story ahead is all about how Bholaa fights with all the gangs came in his way on his own. It makes everyone curious how can he fight with everyone alone and then his story unfolds with a big & unexpected surprise at the end.
Bholaa is overall a high budget film and overhyped story of a prisoner who used to be a dangerous criminal in his time. While it has some moments which audience will surely love and cheer for, the idea of keeping a sequel too make you think of the film after walking through the theatre.
Ajay Devgan truly aimed for a next level VFX & high class action sequences. He doesn’t let anything fall in the entire run and keeps you engaging. Tabu, Sanjay Mishra and Deepak Dobriyal impresses as well while you should definitely watch the film for the its surprising factor at the end cause Ajay Devgan & Sequels is the good old story and you don’t want to miss on this one!
