Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan surprises fans with a midnight release on Prime Video

The time has finally come! The OTT release of Pathaan has finally received an official notice from Amazon Video. On March 22, 2023, a digital release of the Siddharth Anand high-octane action thriller, which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, is planned. Over 60 days after its theatrical debut, the YRF movie, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, will be available on OTT.

To make the announcement, Prime Video used its social media accounts. Someone said, "I shared the Pathaan poster." "We detect weather disturbance since Pathaan is approaching. #PathaanOnPrime, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, March 22 Siddharth Anand, Deepika Padukone, The John Abraham, and YRF are all on Twitter."

Across the whole world, Pathaan has surpassed all other Hindi films, and it continued to earn money into its seventh weekend!

Pathaan generated Rs. 0.98 crore nett on its eighth weekend in India (Rs. 0.95 crore in Hindi and Rs. 0.03 crore for all dubbed versions). The breakdown by day is as follows:

Friday: 0.21 crore rupees in India, net (Hindi: Rs. 0.20 crore; all dub versions: Rs. 0.01 crore).

Rs. 0.31 billion nett in India on Saturday (Hindi: Rs. 0.30 crore; all dubbed versions: Rs. 0.01 crore)

Sunday: Net revenue of Rs. 0.46 billion in India (Hindi: Rs. 0.45 crore; all dubbed versions: Rs. 0.01 crore)

Pathaan's total revenue in India is 541.96 crore rupees (Hindi: 523.35 crore; dubbed: 18.61 crore)! An astounding Rs. 1048.30 crore was made worldwide (Rs. 656.20 crore in India and Rs. 392.10 crore, or US$47.75 million), respectively.

The movie's Hindi adaptation has earned around Rs. 90 crore nett, which is a record by a significant margin. If the dubbed versions are also counted, it surpasses Rs 100 crore in box office receipts for the first time in South India. Furthermore, despite the fact that ads in South India make this sum seem low, very few films there really make more than Rs. 100 crore. 12–13 films, such as Pathaan and Avatar: The Way of Water, may be made available online after the epidemic.
