Directed by the director Gauri Shinde. English-Vinglish comes up with the story of a housewife and caterer Shashi, who is usually mocked by her family for not knowing English. After traveling to America, her attempt to learn the language helps her rediscover herself and reassert her value as a mother and a wife.

In Tumhari Sulu, Director Suresh Triveni tells a story of lady Sulu, an ambitious housewife, living happily with her husband and her son. Things change making her see all phases, when she wins a contest and auditions for a night show at a radio station.
NARGIS DUTT IN MOTHER INDIA
The epic drama by filmmaker Mehboob Khan, portrays the tale of a village woman Radha. A poor but righteous woman, struggles to raise her children while going up against Sukhilala, a greedy moneylender. Despite the many hurdles she faces, she refuses to sacrifice her integrity.
MADHURI DIXIT IN MRITYUDAND
Veteran director Prakash Jha brings up with bold concept of three brave women struggle against the domineering men in their lives and the oppressive system they represent. Madhuri Dixit as Ketki fights back after her husband Vinay who is manipulated by Tirpat Singh.
DEEPIKA PADUKONE IN PIKU
A road trip to Kolkata brings Piku, an architect, closer to her ageing but nagging father Bhaskor Banerjee despite their disparate ideologies and fights over trivial issues. This film by Shoojit Sircar will really make you go awwww and rise the feeling of belongingness with your parents.
ALIA BHATT IN DEAR ZINDAGI
Another movie by Gauri Shinde, represents a modern girl Kaira who after a series of career and relationship downturns, begins suffering from insomnia. She contacts Dr. Jehangir Khan, a psychologist, who uses unconventional methods to treat her.
