Citadel, the next film from the Russo Brothers and starring Priyanka Chopra, is hugely popular. The show's creators have made stills available. On Monday night, Priyanka Chopra posted a picture with the message, "First look at Citadel on Prime." Samantha Ruth Prabhu left a comment on Priyanka's post in the comments area. Samantha wrote "Yassss" with a fire emoji. She plays the lead role in the Raj and DK-directed Indian adaptation of Citadel. Varun Dhawan also appears in the Indian adaptation. Rajkummar Rao, Priyanka's co-star in The White Tiger, added: "Awesomeeeee." Nick Jonas, Priyanka's husband, used "fire" emojis in the comments.

On Monday, the first teaser for the new Citadel web series on Amazon Video was released. The footage, which also included Stanley Tucci, Richard Madden, and Priyanka Chopra, was uploaded on Instagram by a fan account. Stanley said at the start of the clip, "Your entire worldview is false. Your identity was a fiction. Citadel was what you were."

Next, in brief flashes, the footage shows Priyanka grinning and Richard Madden gazing at someone. The teaser concludes with a slew of action sequences. Priyanka will portray Nadia Sinh, an elite spy, in Citadel. The first two episodes of the show, which also features Lesley Manville, will debut on April 28.

On March 1, the web series' trailer will be released. The caption for the teaser said, "The first trailer for Citadelon Prime, a film starring @priyankachopra, @stanleytucci, and Richard Madden. beginning on March 1!"
