This month saw the release of the movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. After Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year, and Chennai Express, Pathaan is the duo's fourth on-screen pairing. Also, it represents SRK's return to the big screen after a 4-year absence. Moreover, in a recent interview, Deepika expressed her desire for Shah Rukh to have success with Pathaan. She also disclosed what she said to Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan after the movie's success.

Shah Rukh Khan said during the Pathaan media event that he felt supported and that everyone wanted the movie to succeed throughout the film's production. Deepika Padukone stated to India Today that everyone wants Shah Rukh to be successful when questioned about the same. She also wanted Pathaan to succeed professionally for SRK and his family because of her personal friendship with him.
