Qatar has stepped up to help families devastated by the deadly earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
10,000 mobile homes, a rescue team, a field hospital, and more relief supplies were all sent by the Qatari Foreign Ministry to assist people in need.
This gesture of goodwill demonstrates the nation’s attempts to lessen the suffering of those impacted by the calamity.
The gas-rich Gulf country claims that donating the mobile homes was always the goal. They were required to assist with housing some of the 1.4 million soccer fans that flocked to the little nation during the largest event.
The Qatar Fund for Development said that a first shipment of 350 buildings was sent out on Sunday.
Qatar and other affluent Gulf nations have joined the international effort to deliver relief and rescuers to the affected area. For relief operations, the United Arab Emirates has committed $100 million. Eight aircraft from Saudi Arabia have been sent with supplies to Turkey and Syria.
