Fans, or BTS Army, as they call themselves, were forced to cancel Sunday night plans to work out when South Korean singer and Bangtan Boys or BTS' golden maknae Jeon Jung Kook (also known by his stage name, Jungkook), launched a LIVE broadcast direct from the gym. Kookie gave exercise aficionados a sneak look of his regimen by working out the entire body with pushups, planks, and other exercises. We are now fired up for our workout on Sunday.

As Jungkook worked out hard with his fitness trainer, he accessorised his athleisure style with a pair of boxing gloves and his trademark baggy black T-shirt. JK left fans and fitness lovers in awe with his incredible HIIT routine, which included kicking a punching bag in the background and practising outstanding pad work with his trainer.

HIIT is a quick yet safe substitute for traditional forms of moderate-intensity, long-duration exercise. It is jogging or cycling for one minute at almost full effort, pausing for one minute, and then repeating the procedure around ten times. Short bursts of intensive activity are interspersed with even shorter rest and recuperation periods in this type of cardiovascular training or interval training.

The popular singer performed pushups and pullups while hanging from a rod that was strung from the gym's ceiling after kickboxing. He was shown flexing in front of the camera while engaging all of the major muscular groups in his body by doing the pull, push, squat, lunge, hinge, rotation, and gait motions of the animal flow exercise.
