The two have been the subject of relationship rumours since Kriti Sanon and her handsome “Adipurush” co-star Prabhas stepped on stage hand in hand. As the B-town Shaadi season got underway, it appeared that Kriti was the next in line to take the plunge with Prabhas. The actor’s publicists later refuted the outrageous rumors.
In the middle of rumours that the on-screen pair was beginning to date, Kriti sent a mysterious message on her Instagram story. In a video clip, Oprah Winfrey is heard stating, “Expecting others to perform in a circumstance as you would only results in your disappointment, not theirs. They are continuing their daily lives. Therefore, let individuals be who they are and choose to embrace them or not. You are locked in a situation that actually costs you time and energy if you don’t do it.”
The actress posted the clip to social media with the remark “word” and a salute emoticon.
On Wednesday, Prabhas’ team denied rumours that the pair was travelling to the Maldives to propose. His group said, “Kriti and Prabhas are only pals. It’s untrue what was reported about them being engaged.”
After their adorable chemistry at the Adipurush teaser event led many to assume they were secretly dating, Kriti and Prabhas gave rise to relationship rumours. Varun Dhawan, the actress’ co-star in the film “Bhediya,” also did little to quell the rumours when he suggested that Kriti had a hidden lover.
Kriti subsequently stated, “The claims are ABSOLUTELY untrue,” on her Instagram stories
