The mother of actor-dancer Rakhi Sawant, Jaya Bheda, passed away on January 28 at a hospital in Mumbai after a protracted struggle with cancer. When her mother passed away, Rakhi was by her side. The star said that her mother died as a result of multiple organ failure since the sickness had progressed to her kidneys and lungs. Later, Rakhi posted a video of herself sobbing uncontrollably while sitting on a hospital floor on social media. She also wrote in the caption that said, "Aaj meri maa ki haat sar se uth gaya." Anurag Kashyap regrets ignoring Sushant Singh Rajput

Anurag Kashyap, the director, has expressed sorrow for turning down the request of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput to work with him. Anurag had disclosed shortly after Sushant's death that he had declined to consult with him over a project since SSR had previously ghosted him.
