For the first time in the history of Shark Tank India, Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal offered a blank check to a young entrepreneur.
One of the most popular reality shows on Sony TV, Shark Tank India season 2 is creating an entrepreneurial wave across the country. Many young and aspiring businesspeople acquired investments from the Sharks and grew their business. From lakhs to crore, the judges did not shy away from shelling out big money to support a potential business.
However, for the first time in the history of Shark Tank India, Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal offered a blank check to a young entrepreneur. ”You had come for Rs 50 lakhs. Aapko Rs 1 cr chahiye ya 2 cr chahiye, aap vo lelo aur aapki valuation pe,” the shark can be heard telling the entrepreneur.

BOAT co-founder Aman Gupta chimed in, ”It has never happened before, people are giving you an open offer” implying that other Sharks have also gave him a similar offer. Moreover, Bansal got up from his chair to give the cheque to the contestant.
To pique the fans’ interest, the show’s promo video did not reveal the entrepreneur’s name or business. However. fans are quite curious to know what made the Sharks give him such a big offer.
