SRK Fans celebrate release of Pathaan! Cut huge cakes, posters, tees and many more

Pathaan's release today, January 25, is nothing short of a celebration for Shah Rukh Khan's fans. Since early morning, they have been flocking to the theatres in large numbers to watch Pathaan. Not only this, a certain section of fans across the country have also pulled out huge posters of SRK's avatar in Pathaan, wore Pathaan tees and cut huge cakes outside the theatres!

In Ahemdabad, fans gathered in large numbers outside the theatres to watch Pathaan. Along with them, they also got cut-outs of Shah Rukh Khan, huge posters, tees and cakes.

Fans in Chennai also got a huge cake to celebrate Pathaan release day. A fan club of SRK shared the pictures of the cake on Twitter and wrote, "The Cake is kept ready by NAMMA #CHENNAI fans & it looks beautiful & yummy #PathaanFirstDayFirstShow #PathaanWithSRKCFC (sic)."

Meanwhile, there is a huge celebration in Cauvery theater in Bengaluru. A fan club has been doing this for the last nine years. They have made SRK T-shirts, bands, face painting, cakes, etc. Almost 1000 people have gathered to watch Pathaan's First Day First Show.Fans there also welcomed Pathaan by bursting crackers!

Not only this, fans lined up outside theaters for early morning shows of Pathaan too! In a tweet shared by the official Twitter handle, Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club, fans are seen lining up outside the theatres for 7 am shows. The tweet read, "LATEST: People are already lining up at @_PVRCinemas for #Pathaan 7 AM show!!! The excitement is through the roof (sic)!!!"

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie released on January 25, 2023, with Republic Day weekend along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. Shah Rukh Khan is seen as Pathaan, a RAW field agent, in the film. The music of Pathaan is composed by Vishal–Shekhar and score is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara.

His international fan clubs, who express their excitement and exhilaration as they intend to make January 25 abundantly special for themselves and their favourite star.

Monika Bucher, who runs SRK Universe Switzerland, aims to make the day memorable by not only catching up with other fans but also distributing artwork made by her among them as her token of love for the star. “I had to make some effort in the past few weeks with the support of Beate, the admin of SRK Universe Austria, and Sunil from SRK Universe UK so that we in Switzerland can also enjoy seeing Pathaan. We came to know just a few days back that it will be shown in Pathé cinemas in Switzerland. I’ve sketched and painted a poster featuring Shah Rukh Khan, which will be signed by me. I will have it printed and give them as gifts to my SRK Universe Switzerland members, who will be watching Pathaan with me on January 25th, so that we all remember this day," she tells us, rather enthusiastically.

SRK Universe Austria, on the other hand, has gotten ‘specially designed buttons and printed flyers as giveaways for each and every fan’ who will come together to watch the first-day first show of Pathaan. Beate Herzog, the admin of the fan club, remarks, “The most important thing is that we will watch Pathaan together and enjoy it on the big screen. We will have a meet-up before the show where we will take pictures and videos and share our excitement about the film. After we finish watching it, we will sit and chat about how we liked the film. It will be a wonderful evening together, enjoying what we like the most - Shah Rukh Khan."

Talking about how these get-togethers are symbolic of a unified force of love for Shah Rukh, he expresses, “We are going to become the first fan club of any actor in the world to have so many special screenings for their star’s movie. Pathaan mania is sure to take the world by storm and SRK Universe can’t wait to make fans feel like they are under the roof from across the universe."
