Pan-Indian hit and historical action-drama epic was directed by SS Rajamouli. RRR is on the shortlist for Best Original Song for the dance song Naatu Naatu, which earlier this month won the Golden Globe Award in the same category. To be included on the final list, Naatu Naatu will face competition from songs like Hold My Hand from Joseph Kosinski's Top Gun: Maverick and Lift Me Up from Ryan Coogler's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
All That Breathes
A finalist for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film is Shaunak Sen's documentary All That Breathes. It centres on the lives of two brothers named Nadeem and Saud, who devote their time to caring for birds at a temporary hospital in their basement in Delhi. The film will face competition from documentaries like Hidden Letters, Children of the Mist, and Fire of Love, among others
The Elephant Whisperers
The Elephant Whisperers is a documentary that was directed by Kartiki Gonsalves. It shows how two abandoned elephants and their keepers form an unbreakable bond. Guneet Monga of Period, an Oscar winner, produced the documentary.
