Athiya Shetty made sure that her bridal look was fuss-free and simple. She opted for a simple maang-tikka and ditched the matha-patti and traded simple kaleere instead of chunky ones. She beautifully embraced a nude make-up look with blush pink eyeshadow and the evergreen mane-parted bun.

Her lehenga took 10,000 hours

Athiya embraced her winter wedding with a full-sleeve choli and an elaborate lehenga. Ditching the traditional bridal red for her wedding, Athiya opted for an old-rose pink lehenga. Her chikankari outfit featured intricate zardozi and jaali work. Talking to Vogue, Anamika Khanna, who had designed Athiya’s lehenga, revealed that it took 10,000 hours to make it. Athiya’s lehenga was made from silk and silk organza was used for her dupatta and veil.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding was attended by less than 100 guests. The couple plans to host a grand wedding bash for their family and friends, a source had revealed, “Given the hectic cricket schedules, a wedding bash has been planned for the film industry and cricket bigwigs after the IPL wraps up in May.” Around 3000 people will be invited for this grand gala that will be hosted in Mumbai.
