Opinion: Shalin Bhanot purposely showing his aggression towards females in Bigg Boss 16!!! Making false narratives against women?

Bigg Boss season 16 has proved its tagline of being different from all their previous seasons. As this time Bigg Boss himself is participating in the game and that has earned the show a huge TRP. The contestants are trying their hard to stay in the game but Bigg Boss has twisted their strategies all the time by exposing the game play either directly or indirectly.

This season has honestly gone to rocks. Be it chauvinist men like Shalin Bhanot abusing women and bad mouthing about them, or women getting character assassinated. We wonder how the house has been towards girls in general. And in all this a room of auditions for Shalin Bhanot!!

After a recent episode when Shalin Bhanot conveniently abused Tina Datta and her mother, has put a negative impact on the watchers that how a person can be this shallow.

Shalin Bhanot undoubtedly is a very good actor, and he has created Bigg Boss season 16’s house as an audition room. Be it the confused puppy face, extreme aggression, compulsive lying, drama over consuming steroids, or trying to be the all composed gentleman. He always tries to somehow get out sneakily by showing his emotions and always pretending to be emotional.

He is performing his self-made script kind of well. The prominent one is his on and off love angle with Tina. He tries to show a lot of affection in every possible way he can but when the things didn’t turn out to be as he planned, he doesn’t shy away at all to play the victim card.

Recently Shalin went on to abuse Tina as well as her mother and that made us to put an eye-opening opinion on his Bigg Boss game narrative. This brainy head has led everyone into a mirage of making them realize that his actions are real.

Shalin Bhanot has been behind Tina Datta from the very first days of this season. He has been flirting and trying to being close with Tina and imposing his warmth on her. Though Tina has been neglecting that it's too early for anything to pour romantically. She always been sticking to one line only that he is just a friend to her and would like to make any decision once they are outside the house.

Whereas Shalin meanwhile tried to play with Soundarya Sharma too, but due to her wittiness she didn't budge in, so he has been playing around with Datta now. Be it making a puppy face and asking Tina to forgive him or hide his actual statements in front of her. Shalin has been playing an angry hopelessly romantic hero.

“Did she play me?” Shalin has been asking this question to each and everyone in the house. Maybe just trying to create a perception that Tina used him for the game. Using this repetitive note, Bhanot has easily feeded this narrative of Tina being the bad one in this game. Eventually things turned out to be in his favor when Salman Khan was advising Tina that because of her to and fro behaviour, it looks that she is the fake person in this nameless relationship. And there Shalin had an icing over his cake, thus he continued that angle. Be it crying on screen or expressing his emotions explicitly, Shalin has created this image of a man who has been cheated and how he is a victim.

Though he himself was an abuser to his ex-wife and earlier contestant Dalljiet Kaur of Bigg Boss. In a previous episode when Shalin was trying to deny domestic violence allegations on him, he claimed that they are ‘best friends’. Whereas Dalljiet tweeted the very next day and cleared the things by writing that “No I am not your best friend Shalin. Meeting once in a month or two months for the sake of my child does not qualify as friendship. I wish you luck with your love life but leave me out of your fictions and stories please. And you are calling it funny? Really? Tina no hard feelings for you.” She also cleared this in an interview that “Shalin is just a father to her son and this abusive man means nothing to her anymore”.

Shalin from the very beginning has only focusing his game around Tina Datta. Now, digging at a few PR mechanisms to clear Shalin’s image, his mother as well as teams outside have been turning things in a way that Shalin is the one who has done things for Tina and pointing out how Datta has no game apart from him. Well, again the nasty game play!

Even the former contestant of Bigg Boss Kashmera Shah got raged when Shalin threw a lighter on Tina and then suddenly tried to make her quiet forcibly. She wrote on her twitter handle that “This is something I completely condone. I don’t look at such fights as fake but as absolute ‘bad influence’ on our young audience. Cannot promote anything that even hints at domestic violence in a relationship.”

Gauhar Khan who is just like family to Bigg Boss has scolded Shalin for making rough commentary on Gautam Vig and saying him that “he is a woman and is weak like a woman, for which he should not be made captain even”. Which was really dishonouring and shameful.
