States that have reported COVID-19 variant XBB.1.5

A new case of covid-19 variant XBB.1.5, that is responsible for the rise in cases in the USA, has also been detected in India now. As per the sources, it has been discovered in Uttarakhand taking the total number of cases in India to eight.

According to INSACOG, there were three cases of XBB.1.5 reported in Gujarat. While Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan reported with only one case each.
