NDA 1 2023 notification has been released on December 21, 2022. It is available on the official website for the aspirants to download. The application process is live till January 10, 2022. Applying candidates must check the detailed official notification for eligibility, important dates, vacancies, and other information before they fill the forms. NDA 1 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 16, 2022.
NDA exam is conducted twice a year to recruit candidates for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. A total of 395 vacant positions have been announced for this exam cycle.

● Air Force (National Defence Academy): 92 for Flying, 18 for Ground Duties (Tech), and 10 for Ground Duties (Non-Tech).

Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply for NDA exam 2023. They must be Indian citizens born between July 02, 2004, and July 01, 2007. The required educational qualifications for NDA eligibility are different for the Army wing of National Defence Academy than the rest.
The candidates applying for NDA Army Wing must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board of school or state education. On the other hand, aspirants of Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy, and those of Cadet- entry of Naval Academy should have passed their Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised board.
The application process for educ exam is online and through the official website of UPSC only. The candidates must, at first, register themselves on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal to be able to fill the form. The registration is valid for a lifetime and the portal is available throughout the year.
To apply successfully for NDA 2023 exam, one has to fill all the details asked in the application form, upload the required scanned documents, and pay the fees online or offline. The application fee is INR 100.

NDA 2023 written exam consists of two papers- Mathematics and General Ability Test. The former consists of 120 questions while the latter has 150 questions. Both papers are conducted on a single day for a duration of 2.5 hours each. The maximum marks for first paper is 300 and the for the second paper is 600.
The cutoff marks to qualify NDA written exam is different for each cycle. The authorities announce it along with the final result. The candidates who clear the exam will have to appear for the SSB Interview round. It is conducted over a period of 4-5 days and consists of 900 marks. NDA SSB Interview has two stages. Stage 1 is a screening test while Stage 2 comprises Psychological Test, Group Testing Officers Test, Personal Interview and Conference.
