Brahmastra Sells 50,000 tickets in Advance across three national chains

The much-anticipated film Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt will hit the theatres soon. While the fans are excited to see their favourite pair on screen, the advance bookings have opened up already. The film will be released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats.

All eyes are on Brahmastra after a series of films including Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan have failed at the box office, People have high expectations after watching the trailers. As the countdown is on for the biggest spectacle, the early updates are, around 50,000 tickets have been sold for the upcoming movie, so far, across the three multiplex chains, PVR Cinemas, INOX and Cinepolis. Of the 50,000 tickets, more than 30,000 have been sold for the opening day.

While it is too early to predict what the opening figures would be or whether it will be better than the previous releases of 2022, we hope these tickets getting sold fast is a sign the audience will return to the theatre and leave satisfied after a long time.

The film will require promotions for box office collections to show the magic. If the first day’s response lives up to the expectations, the film still needs to maintain the momentum for at least a week in order to see growth. Although spot bookings are expected, It all counts on the word of mouth on Friday and the business for the first weekend depends on the response of the audience.
