The first season of The Kapil Sharma Show premiered on 23 April 2016 and so far, a total of 387 episodes have been broadcast across three seasons.

Here is how much each person charges for the show.

The host and face of the show, Kapil Sharma charges Rs 50 lakh per episode. Sharma took home between Rs 30 lakh to Rs 35 lakh per episode for the first two seasons, but hiked his fee to Rs 50 lakh per episode for season 3.

As per several media reports, Krushna Abhishek will not be a part of the upcoming fourth season of the show due to a fallout with the producers. Abhishek, who joined the show in 2018, took home Rs 10 to Rs 12 lakh per episode.

Bharti Singh, one of the most entertaining characters on the show, takes home a paycheque of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh per episode.

Kiku Sharda, who has been a part of the show since its first season, takes home between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 6 lakh per episode.

Sumona Chakravarti, who has played Bhoori among other characters, takes home Rs 7 lakh per episode.

Chandan Prabhakar, who plays Chandan among other roles, is paid Rs 7 lakh per episode.

In 2019, Archana Puran Singh replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu as the permanent guest on the show. Singh is paid Rs 10 lakh per episode of The Kapil Sharma Show.

The Kapil Sharma Show revolves around Kapil Sharma and his team, including Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar, who are all residents of the Shantivan Non-cooperative Housing Society and play different comical characters. Popular personalities from various fields are invited on the show for an amusing and entertaining interaction with Kapil Sharma and his team.
