Update: Comedian Raju Srivastav is still on ventilator but is improving steadily

Popular Comedian Raju Srivastav recently suffered a massive heart attack on August 10th and he has been on ICU ventilator ever since. Wishes and prayers for him are pouring in from across the country. His friend and comedian Ahsaan Qureshi shared a health update and revealed all Raju's friends are chanting Hanuman Chalisa for him.

Update: The 58 year old comedian underwent angioplasty after he complained about chest pains during a run on the treadmill. He is still unconscious and is on a ventilator. His friends and family are praying for him constantly. On Tuesday, Raju's representative informed that the doctors have assured of his recovery but 'it will take time'.

Raju's daughter also confirmed the same. On August 21, Shekhar Suman shared an update about Raju's health, saying his organs are working properly and according to the doctors he is improving steadily.

His younger brother Deepu Srivastav updated on the comedian's health and expressed gratitude towards the fans for their prayers. He said, though Raju is in the hospital he is sure the blessings are being heard. He further added his brother is receiving the best possible health care facility and emphasizing on his recovery being under the care of best team of medical professional at the hospital. Deepu also urged people not to pay attention to rumours and requested the fans to keep showers love and wishes.
