Shah Rukh Khan Sir, the biggest superstar, was once a newcomer and a complete outsider. Somebody had faith in him and his abilities and cast him in their film. Similarly, Anubhav Sinha and Ratnaa Sinha have faith in me and my talent. I hope I can make them proud : Prit Kamani
Ratnaa Sinha’s second directorial, ‘Middle Class Love,’ a coming-of-age story, stars three fresh faces. Leading the trio of newcomers is Prit Kamani who hopes that this film and his role will pave his way in cinema.
Talking about being a newcomer and a complete outsider in the film industry, Prit says, “It’s difficult but not impossible. Today Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, and Kartik Aaryan have all proved themselves and made their mark being rank outsiders. Even Shah Rukh Khan sir, the biggest superstar, was once a newcomer and a complete outsider too. Somebody had faith in him and his abilities and gave him a chance. I am grateful for Anubhav Sinha and Ratnaa Sinha’s faith in me and my talent. They have given me the biggest opportunity of my life and I have given my 200% to it. I hope Middle class love hits it out of the park.”
Talking about his experience of being a leading actor of a film, he adds, “For me, to bag a film that has a good script, a great director, supportive producers and names like, Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios attached to it has been tough, and a win in itself. At a time where even the big names are scared of releasing films in theatres, my producers have faith in this film. The struggle never really ends though. The challenges just keep getting bigger and you have to fight harder. I have given my blood, sweat and tears and I hope the audience loves our film.”
Middle Class Love stars Prit Kamani, Eisha Singh, Kavya Thapar and is directed by Ratnaa Sinha. The film is jointly produced by Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios. Middle Class Love is all set to release on September 16, 2022.
