Middle Class Love’s peppy new song Tuk Tuk starring Prit Kamani and Eisha Singh is out now; director Ratnaa Sinha lauds Himesh Reshammiya for infusing the film with youthful energy

Musicians say that capturing young romance is one of the most unadulterated forms of music there is. And looks like the makers of Middle Class Love have brought that flavour in their film. The newest song from the album finds Prit Kamani and Eisha Singh in the middle of the night in a theme park, letting their hair down and living it up! Tuk Tuk, one of the album’s most peppy numbers, captures the sense associated with being youthful and carefree. The lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed brings with it the no-care-in-the-world attitude of the youth. Doubling up as singer, and composer Himesh Reshammiya is joined by Payal Dev behind the mic.

Talking about the track, Himesh says, “Tuk Tuk is a fun catchy number which is sure to make you tap your feet. The narrative of the film had to be taken forward with two friends bonding and having a great time without a care in the world and hence the song was conceptualised to give a youthful vibe. I had a blast composing and singing this song”

Payal Dev adds, “It’s always an honour working with Himesh Sir. This film has a young energy and the song reflects just that”

Captain of the ship, director Ratnaa Sinha added, “I am so pleased with the album Himesh has delivered, especially this song. The sequence required a light hearted and playful song and he charmed me over with this one. Easily amongst my personal favourites from the album.”

Middle Class Love stars Prit Kamani, Eisha Singh, Kavya Thapar and is directed by Ratnaa Sinha. The film is jointly produced by Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios. Middle Class Love is all set to release on September 16, 2022.
