After the success of Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017), fans were keenly awaiting the Thor : Love And Thunder, which created a solid box office records across the globe. The latest Marvel flick opened to a solid Rs 18.5 crore on Thursday while it dipped to Rs 11.5 crore on Friday. It bounced back to Rs 17 crore on Saturday while Sunday was at same level with Rs 17.85 crore. Unfortunately, the comic flick dropped heavily on Monday with Rs 5.5-6 crore, bringing the five days total to around Rs 70 crore. On the global front, Thor God And Thunder became the biggest Thor opening in US market with $143 million debut, while global collection had already touched $302 million at the box office.

The other release of the week was Bollywood film, Khuda Haafiz 2, which starred the action star, Vidyut Jammwal. The first part was released in 2020 on OTT and had garnered good viewership on Disney+Hotstar which led to the theater release of second part. Unfortunately, the curiosity to watch the movie is not that great as the action drama opened to Rs 1.35 crore while the Saturday collected escalated to Rs 2 crore followed by Rs 3.12 crore on Sunday. It held well on Monday with Rs 1 crore, bringing the first four days total to Rs 7.15 crore at the box office. The budget of Khud Haafiz 2 is Rs 27 crore.
