From The Entry Of His Bestie Shah Rukh Khan At His 50th Bday Party To Roohi - Yash's Gift, Karan Johar REVEALS All!

Bollywood's ace filmmaker Karan Johar recently celebrated his 50th birthday and his birthday bash was the talk of the town. His birthday party was a star-studded affair. He celebrated his 50th birthday with B-town friends in Mumbai. There was high-octane fun and entertainment on the star filmmaker’s birthday. Earlier, celebs shared glimpses of fun from KJo’s birthday party. But now KJo himself has shared his experience and feeling about his birthday party.

During one of the media interactions, Karan Johar stated what gift he received from his munchkins Yash and Roohi on his birthday and how their gift left him emotional. He said, "You know what my kids' present to me… they are five and a half and they know how obsessed I am with 'Dafli Wale' as it goes back to my childhood…as a child."

He further added, "I am in love and obsessed with this song…So, when my children wanted to give me a present…I don't know who suggested it to them but they actually rehearsed on the steps of 'Dafli Wale' and they made me sit down and I had tears coming down my eyes because my two children who had made such an effort that they had a dance teacher who taught them this and they performed to 'Dafli Wale' Of course, they forgot the steps and beats were off but the love was intact."

Karan Johar also talked about Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, etc who graced his birthday party and added all the fun and entertainment to it. He mentioned, "Ranveer Singh was completely in charge of the music, with his heart. He was like ‘the movie star will come on the dance floor, and we’ll play that song,’ he and DJ Ganesh. He did a tech check at 4 pm for sound. He was like ‘this has to be the Om Shanti Om dance number’, so Salman and Shah Rukh were dancing to Bhangra Paa Le, and Kajol-Rani were dancing to Koi Mil Gaya.”

He also made a special mention of SRK who happens to be his best friend when he was expressing his opinion on stardom. Given SRK's instance he said, SRK did not have a grand entry like others, when he came to his party, there was a charisma of a star that is not the case with this generation.

A few days after Karan Johar's birthday many Bollywood celebs like Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aditya Roy Kapur tested positive for covid 19. Thus, many are of the opinion that KJo's birthday party was the super spreader of the corona. However, Karan Johar has denied the claims and said his party has nothing to do with that.
