The singer and composer won the award for undoubtedly the most loved song of the year, ‘Ranjha’ from the blockbuster film Shershaah.

Jasleen Royal who is elated about the achievement took it to her Instagram account and shared a heartfelt gratitude note for the same.

Jasleen mentioned about how sharing her first IIFA award with the legend AR Rahman is unbelievable. The singer also thanked the team of Shershaah, expressing special gratitude towards Siddharth Malhotra and Karan Johar.

Ranjha just did not rule hearts but also the globe, as the song was featured in the global billboard with other songs of the film.

One after the other, Jasleen Royal has been ruling hearts and chartbusters. The singer was recently applauded and loved for her compositions for the film Runaway 34 starring Ajay Devgn, which was also her first film as a solo composer.
